Drawings of pets

Of course, I also undertake drawings of pets – which can make great presents!

Indeed,  few people who have pets would ever deny that they are an intrinsic part of their lives and an integral part of their family.  Certainly, they greatly enhance our lives and provide an unconditional loyalty and love that is all too rare – when it comes to our fellow humans!

However, how do you capture the essence of a pet – its unique personality?

Well, photographs can do quite a good job – but drawings of pets can be far better.  They can often illustrate the character of  a pet with an honesty and insight that photographs lack.  Furthermore, I think they ‘last’ better.  Their originality and purity can make them stand out with a force that concentrates the mind and, for lost pets, your happy memories of them.
