As an artist, it is natural, I think, to have an interest in animal photography in Spain. After all, this is where I live and sometimes a photograph can provide almost as much pleasure as a well executed drawing.
It is also fair to say that fine animal photography in Spain is as rare as anywhere else in the world. By ‘fine’ I mean a photograph that provides some kind of insight into the animal concerned. It is this aspect to animal photography in Spain that most excites me and why I am such a keen photographer. What I want to achieve in a photograph is something special – something that excites or delights you, the viewer. Hopefully, that is what will happen when you see some of my photographs…
